Aqualab has been operating in West Auckland for over twenty years. The company has as its focus the testing of water samples from a variety of sources such as drinking-water supplies, recreational water (both swimming pools and beaches) and wastewater systems.

The drinking water testing Aqualab performs has met the Ministry of Health level 2 criteria for more than 17 years, and for the last 4 years ISO/IEC 17025 with annual audits by IANZ.
The current management team of Terrey Fitzgerald and Chris Reid have worked at Aqualab for 23 and 20 years respectively, with the last twenty years as the owners of the business. Terrey and Chris have many years of experience working in, supervising and managing laboratories accredited by IANZ to ISO 17025.
Aqualab samples and monitors drinking water for a large number of small clients, watercourses and outfalls at beaches, effluent fields from package sewage treatment plants, and landfills for consent compliance over the greater Auckland area. Aqualab also plays a large role in performing testing on new water mains before connection to an existing network.
